The bundle is the best deal for this laptop:

https://www.walmart.com/co/Motile...nxGuXylxw0

Comparing the R3 to the R5...

Double the RAM, double the SSD, 30% faster CPU, 50% faster GPU. Worth it for $100? Your choice.

You can return the backpack and mouse for additional savings of ~$75, effectively making the laptop at the price points of $239 or $339.

The weight of this laptop is underrated. It's lighter than pretty much every mainstream 14" laptop, and possibly lighter than most 11" 2 in 1 tablets. If weight is your main concern, the Motile laptop is an excellent choice.

Battery life of this laptop is anywhere from 4 hours to 9 hours. AMD Ryzen doesn't throttle as well as Intel. The HDMI port is full size and outputs 4K60Hz@4:4:4 easily thanks to the integrated VEGA 8 graphics.

I do not think there's a better deal for the price to weight to performance ratio you can get from this laptop. The HP from Costco comes close but it is quite heavy and made out of plastic rather than magnesium alloy.

This thing also has a freakin' front IR camera, employing Windows Hello verification technology for super fast logins. It's very similar to the Lumia 950/950 XL and it works with glasses.

People are shitting on this laptop without a reason, assuming all specs are fake. I would say since it's owned by Walmart, that atleast makes the specs listed trustworthy. Build quality may not be as good as Dell or Asus though

Wal-Mart lists this as 4GB or 8GB in their listing. Idk what to expect but you may have inquire further to find the exact details.

The "About this item" specs are for the $299 Ryzen 3 laptop (here [walmart.com]). Further down the product page are the correct "Specifications" of 8 GB and 256 GB SSD.

There's two models and Walmart did a poor job with their listings as the specifications are a bit vague and confusing. Make sure you're choosing the correct model:

"The two 14.1-inch laptops cost just $499.99 (R3/4GB/128GB) and $599.99 (R5/8GB/256GB), and are exclusively available on www.walmart.com."

This is an nice deal. Motile is Walmart's new house brand, apparently. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Wal...924.0.html

I don't know how good their warranty support is, and the photos do not show a vent, so it's probably venting out the rear. Good specs for the money though.
4GB is no go

It's been two weeks since I returned my lens to Amazon for replacement through Kohl's. I got tired of waiting and just bought another one from Adorama. You can just return this to your local Walmart if you don't like it. It's probably manufacturing by the same factories that build Lenovo's

Looks like only single channel ram only. Also looks like they are using Ryzen 3rd gen cpu, not second gen.

Do we know who makes these chassis?

TongFang was a pretty good manufacturer. Hopefully, they choose another quality one.
