Wow, now that's a deal. The pair of speakers alone go for $400.
They were $152 a pair last black friday. I'm not saying this is a bad deal, but I don't want people to read your comment and actually think they go for $400, because they don't.

The headphone is worthless, don't expect to flip for profit. The speakers are awesome. I got them on last year deal for $152/pair and enjoying them immensely. I personally never feel a need for sub.

No, it ain't. This is a fishing price. You can get the 404HD for $99 or less on sale. Those cans suck. When it boils down, $152 + $99 = $251 and then your budget for decent cans. This is a sucker deal buds.

I have a slight hiss when I have the JBLs plugged into my 2i2. I changed the connections and still a hiss. I just keep the volume on low. Other than that I love the monitors. I got them for the Black Friday price of $155. If they go back to that price I'll prob cop an extra pair.

I agree with the others. The speakers are awesome ( got them for the $150 for the pair last black Friday). The headphones are not so good. The interface I'm not so sure.

Picked them up then... and have been happy with them. A few things to note: these aren't your typical home use speakers so be aware that there is "no off button", you need XLR cables, and all controls are in the back.

Are you using balanced cables?

Also, try plugging the speakers into a separate power source.

Had these for a while and they sounded great but the hiss was unbearable. I was using a DAC and balanced cables.

Yes, but if you are planning to use the UMC204HD as your source you'll need make sure you choose a powered sub with outputs for the monitors. Something similar to this one [amazon.com] should work. This will allow you connect them in the following manner:

PC ➡ UMC204HD ➡ sub ➡ LSR306P

To those who say that these were on sale for $X you're probably thinking the 6 inch ones. These are the 6.5 inch ones.
