You're comparing a $22 projector with a $500 projector, lol.

These are surprisingly good for the money. Purchased one last year on sale and put it up this year. Looks great in the dark and got many comments from neighbors about how good it looks. For $80 it's not bad and for 24 it's a no brainer, got another one. You can add your own videos and change the orientation along with connecting it to hdmi sources and pairing it to Bluetooth speakers. The only thing I wish it had was a schedule feature to automatically turn on at a certain time but they don't allow that you have to manually turn it on each time and then you can set an auto off to turn it off after a set number of hours. Is it as good as my BenQ $1000 projector? Definitely not even close but for the price I've been very impressed. It's much better than the Lowes version that is only 480p and not as good

I used one of these last year. Rear projected on a shower curtain liner in a dark bedroom window and it worked fine. They are only like 100 lumens. I used AtmosFX vids.

Never heard of atmosfx before and I have an older projector lying around - are you projecting onto the window, or onto a background opposite the window?

I bought sheer cloth and put it on the inside of the window and projected from inside. el this gives it a floating effect (you cant the the cloth except where the projection is?

Could be a good deal for the videos alone.

It's hilarious that the official manual says native resolution is 1080P. Yeaaaaaaaahhhhhh right.

Guessing it's 320x240. Can't find anything solid...just that it's 4:3. Really doubt it'd even be 640*480

The Bluetooth is for optionally sending the sound -out- to external BT speakers btw.

But...already having multiple decent 800x480 cheapoprojectors, I still grabbed one of these. :/ As long as something is in focus, doesn't have gross washed-out colors, has no processing lag/delay, and can at least be seen in pitch black, mostly anything is nice for old console games via a RasPi/'modded' Playstation Classic/etc.
Yeah the resolution is way off. What they mean is it will support 1080p as a source and down convert to 240. I had a coworker go through a few and while they would connect via HDMI (not sure on this one may be SD card only) you could mirror a 1080p screen and it would not work for readability but would pass for low quality video.

Even higher end "1080p" projectors in the sub $500 range often only natively display something like 720p or 868p-ish.
