This is one of sony's Oled TVs offering. The 65" model is a really good deal. Not so much the 55" model.

The A9G and Z9G are the flagships. This one is good too. But not comparable to the master series. But a good price for a Sony oled.

All the same LG panel.... if you watch movies primarily it's as good as any of them.

Agrees. LG, however, is the better option if you are a gamer or if you want to be future proof. The input lag is not great on the Sony and the lack of HDMI 2.1 support is just unfortunate.

As someone who has owned both, Sony OLEDs are far superior in their motion handling and shadow detail

And, with the next firmware, G-Sync support for the new LGs:

https://www.engadget.com/2019/11/...c-lg-oled/

HDMI 2.1 gets you 4K / 60Hz / 4:4:4 / 10-bit color depth.

BTW, the 65" LG C9 was on sale yesterday for $1700.

So this vs LG's c9. Why would I choose one over the other? I believe the C9 deal is a lil over 1800 after tax tho

Trust me you dont want android tv. I have both a1e and an older lg oled and i prefer the lg interface compare to android tv. It gets tiring how you always go back to the main menu every time you have to change something lol
