I have one in white, bought it for around $30 when walmart clearance them out in-store. in my humble opinion, it's not worth more than that.

the basket is cheap and flimsy, it deforms/bends easily when washing. my first unit only lasted a few months before the basket locking/unlocking mechanism started having issues. the basket also attaches to the handle with some type of hard plastic that seems to get brittle over time from the heat, eventually it will break there. i lightly used mine and only once or twice a week at most.. maybe i got a bad/defective unit, I don't know, but they're no longer sold in stores..

Farberware warranty is non-exisitent for almost everything purchased at walmart,. Although there is technically a 1 yr warranty as stated, all warranty claims must be made through walmart instead. stores may give you a hassle if you don't save your receipt and/or may deny exchange/refund if they aren't aware that walmart is the party responsible for warranting the item.. And as many people already aware, most employees at walmart are clueless.

When the 5Q one went on sale a few weeks ago many people commented that they intended to upgrade from the smaller 3.2Q size.

We got the 5l and I'm happy we did. Probably better to just pass on this until the 5l comes around again for the same price.

Got this in white for less in Aug. Looks like they increased the regular price & this is new sale price - will possibly get lower closer to holidays?
Was a good deal though, use mine often.

Bought one last black Friday for 29 bucks, the 3.2qt one. We use it almost daily and has been working flawlessly since then. Happy with it. Waiting for the 5qt one deal to upgrade.

We got this last year for Black Friday for 29 bucks and it was wonderful! We ended up dropping it and the digital panel stopped working. We ended up getting a bigger more expensive one that looks like a small oven but I preferred this one and liked it better. Save yourself some money and get this one!

What's an oilless fryer?
It uses air to fry (cook) the food. Just a couple squirts of oil and some seasoning on a chicken and it is SOOOOOO good. Even white meat is still juicy.

I've also cooked cinnamon rolls, sweet potato fries, and a pork roast with mine.

To add: i have a 6 qt in a different brand I got for 40$ via Walmart on a deal here, and I've cooked fresh ribs in them (trim > season with a dry rub that I left on for an hour > then low n slow on 250 for about 3 hours, then sauce then 390 for 10 minutes to bake on the sauce....so so good, but I've seen it cooked faster on a higher temp with good results as well),
I've also done
freshly cut fries (just rinse, dry, and toss them in oil prior), Brussel sprouts, roasted carrots, homemade bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, raw chicken wings, bacon, raw breakfast sausage, frozen fries/tators/hash browns/chicken nuggets, eggs hard"boiled" (15 minutes @250, saves on both water and time)..and warms up pretty much anything.
An air fryer is undoubtedly the best appliance purchase I've ever made...saves on power usage compared to the oven...no need to preheat...cooks most things faster than an oven, is so much easier to clean, and healthier/cheaper than deep frying, use mine almost daily and the only "fail" I've had with it was a little experiment of trying to fry a homemade chicken nugget ....It cooks the chicken but the breading is not breading without oil apparently (felt like an idiot after looking it up and seeing people do fry chicken in it but you must spray a lot of oil on it periodically)......I hope to soon try steak, pork chops/Cornish hens or a whole chicken....probably can't fit a whole chicken in one smaller than 5-6 qts though.

I was also confused by "oil-less," since they do use oil. It's just not deep fried in oil which is great. If my kitchen was bigger I'd consider...
