Just to clarify the panel is not glass, something that many seem to confuse

The item pictured is a 2019 E9, but the model number is for last year's E8.

Not surprising you only have 14 rep points. Why don't you be helpful instead of just making a snarky comment? Or at least just say nothing and go back to lurking as per usual. This site will decline because of lurkers like you, with nothing to add, only here to sow discontent.

I haven't owned either product but have done a ton of research in my pursuit of purchasing one very soon. The 8 and 9 series are years 2018 and 2019 respectively. There has not been much changed between the model years according to most reviewers. Minor tweaks in picture processing is all. Most pros will tell you to pick up a 2018 and take the bigger discount. There is a major difference between the C series and the E series however, cosmetically. The E is a "borderless glass" screen and a few other preferred upgrades, but both display the same picture quality. My suggestion would be to find some pictures of both online, or even better, visit a local TV store and go look at them. Cosmetic appeal is a personal preference, so I can't tell you one is better than the other. But as far as what they are designed to do... They both do it the same equally as well.

Awesome thank you! This is a great price, but I think I'm still gonna hold in hopes of a Black Friday deal.

I have the C8 and the E8, the screen is the same (the E8 has better sound and no frame). The E8 is utterly amazing. The big thing you'll gain with the E9 is for gaming (2019 B9/C9/E9 can do Nvidia G-sync very soon and are hdmi 2.1 compliant https://www.anandtech.com/show/15...are-update )

C9 has A9 Gen 2 processor and E8 has A9 Gen 1.
E series has panel on glass where the C doesn't.
I would go for the newer model simply because if the better processor on the C9.
I personally don't care much for the exterior design (the glass) I care more about the picture quality.

Seller: iElectrica (Also sells as FirstClassTvs)

I placed an order for a TV with firstclasstv yesterday; last night I received a call from them saying I had to pay $147 for MANDATORY shipping insurance. Not only is this in itself a dealbreaker since it reveals the character of the seller, when I pushed back they informed me the carrier would be AM Trucking. I encourage anyone considering buying from firstclasstv to first take a look at the reviews for amtrucking on yelp or resellerratings; if the deceptive and probably illegal business practices of firstclasstv are not enough to dissuade you from doing business with them, then the horrible reviews of their chosen carrier will be.

Did you place the order through eBay or directly on iElectrica/FirstClassTvs website?
