I bought this last year from buydig. I never used the gutter attachment or used this much as a blower. Mainly bought it for the vacuum use. It works well to mulch up leaves and some little twigs. The smaller the leaves the better. Only problem is the bag begins to fail after a while. Stitching comes apart. It comes with two bags. Overall for the price it's not a bad blower. I wouldn't pay >$60 for it.

I'm very interested in one of these but can anyone comment on practicality vs gas operated?

I can't answer that but can say I ordered one of their hedge pole trimmers and it was crap... we could not snap the 2 pieces together upon delivery- it just didn't fit - and the reviews on amazon had a bunch of people with the same issue Frown

I just used this yesterday both as a vac/mulcher and blower, works pretty well, I pile the leaves first using the blower and then mulch them. Bought it about a year ago, used it once for the gutters, a bit okward because of the lenght of the extension but you don't have to climb on a ladder. Not as powerfull as a gas blower but no fumes or same noise level.

its nice that its a 4-1, the blower works decently for an electric blower. the vacuum is weak and can get clogged easily. you have to be touching the ground with the mouth of the vacuum to be picking up leaves. mulcher works decently when dry leaves actually are sucked up.

I have an older version of this - basically the same but it didn't have the gutter attachment nor does the vacuum attachment have wheels. I pretty much use it only as a light duty blower to clean out the garage and for vacuuming/mulching the leaves that fall in my yard. For those purposes it works pretty good with the following caveats:

-The dryer the leaves, the better when it comes to vacuuming/mulching. It can pick up wet leaves but the bag quickly gets drenched and it all becomes a wet mess.
-The exhaust port (where the bag fits onto the machine) is relatively small and can quickly get clogged. Just make sure that you keep that as un-constricted as possible.
-It can suck/grind big Canadian Maple Leafs but has a problem grinding the little seed pods that go along with those leaves. They usually just swirl in the tube until I turn it off and then they fall out.
-Vacuuming up the leaves is a slow process - I bet raking is a lot quicker. But the advantage here is the reduction ratio which allows me to put much more into my yard waste bin.

Like I said, mine's an older version (probably at least 3 years old) but it's still going strong.

I had the sun joe hose nozzles that you see on eBay often, those things were total garbage. However the snow joe shovel I used for a whole season and actually held up really well.

Yep, vacuum needs be be nearly touching the ground, clogs easily, can suck roughly 10 maple leaves at a time. Bag fills quickly. Slower than raking and bagging.
