Picked-up the 1050 gtx Ryzen 5 model last month for 500. How much better is this for the extra 200$?

Bad deal..

The REFERENCE Dell laptop Deal is (last month)

model G5 SE, alpine white

9750h 6 core cpu
1660 Ti gpu
144hz screen, 15.6inch
8gb ram
256gb ssd
1 tb hdd

for $940.18 before tax w/ $235 rakuten points (1 year to spend), -5% discover paypal, some people had 10% discover paypal (targeted discount)

For me out the door, + Tax, $1006 -$235-$50 = ~$721

235 in rakuten points is not deducted from your purchase price out the door.

I think the question to answer your question is does this model have the 120hz screen? If so might be worth the extra $200 for double hz on the screen and a faster CPU & GPU.

I can't return my FX505DD now anyways so I probably sticking with it.

It's not, but pretty close, because it's right before BF, and rakuten usually have the same amazon deals on the 10TB drives which I buy several of every year.

Dang.... I kind of want to buy this. Try and sell my FX505DD. If I sell I pull the extra 8 gig stick I bought and my 1tb SSD and switch it over. If I can't sell it then I keep the FX505DD and return this one.... Ugh. Wonder if I can recoup $500 from my FX505DD on ebay or craigslist.

Resisting the urge to buy this.

Can anyone confirm that this is a 120 hz? The previous link was just another site linking back to the walmart site with no verification of the specs. Asus does not have this machine on their site. If 120 hz its a slick deal for sure, if 60 hz not so much.
