I didn't realize I was supposed to baby bird it to you.

NOPE.

For the ENTIRE year!

Personally I think it is great for kids. LOL.
They learn to practice restraint.
And if they want more than the 125 minutes per month, they can buy more at $10 for 500 minutes. And $5 for 1000 texts and $10 for 1 GB data.

You can call and have the entire balance transferred to your existing service and phone. HOWEVER, I've recently had them completely wipe out my existing balance and not complete the transfer last week when I called. It took roughly 3-4 hours and 5 phone calls on 3 different days to finally get back some of my lost data. They will claim they have no record or evidence of your previous balance.

Also, some others recommended screenshotting your current balance but I'd imagine they'd still say they have no records and cannot verify your CLAIMS. Previously, I've transferred balances without any issues but they screwed up pretty bad last week. The time spent explaining myself over and over again wasn't really worth the lost data balance...

I wonder if this can be activated then have the minutes moved to an existing phone? I have done that in the past, but it seems like it gets harder every time.

That's kind of what I'm thinking.. I don't want that phone, but $40/12 is $3.3/mo.

Maybe someone who knows more about Tracfone service can fill in the gaps.

Can you pop the SIM in almost any phone? Looks like it works with iPhones & the service goes between networks like Fi?

Thinking about using with an unlocked Palm, hopefully on VZW.

OK, some basic questions: 1) Is this 1500 MIN/1500 Text/1500MB of Data PER MONTH for 12 months?
Can I ditch the phone and use sim in iPhone 4?
Trying to put together a beater plan for kid

No, this is for the entire year. If this were per month, it would be the deal of the year.

You should be able to move it to any Tracfone capable phone, however.

No. That's what you get for the entire year. Not per month.

Nope 1500/1500/1500 total for the entire year. Works great for me, might not for you.

This is exactly what we had back in 90's plan.

300 minutes per month, no text, we were not able to dream of data back then.

Oh and the giant phone with hostler.
