Will this deal be available in the Atlanta area?
It was not available at my local Atlanta area store last time I saw it mentioned here.

Their bulk goods can also be a decent buy depending on what you're looking for. Even when not on sale, their steel cut oatmeal is only $1.29/lb. If you wait for a sale you can load up for less than $0.90/lb. It's not like it goes bad.

I love this sale, I just wish there was an easy way to get way more of the GC in just one transaction!

I don't see this GC promotion in my local weekly ad for the coming week. I suspect this is largely local and unavailable to stores in most states.
I live in Las Vegas and I don't recall this promotion. And I shop regularly there.

Fish and seafood can also be very well priced on 3 day and sometimes weekly sales. So is boneless skinless chicken breast and thighs at $1.29-1.99 reliably (though for me, often other markets are cheaper).

My particular location also clearances small amounts of meat and seafood when they get down to the end of a tray. I routinely buy sausage for $1.99/lb, salmon for $4.99/lb, halibut for $7.99/lb, etc. I find their regular meat prices very average and find nothing beats Safeway for small quantities of USDA choice when on super sale.
Salmon for that price is a steal. Too bad even with this 10.01% sale, my local sprouts salmon is 75% pricier than that.

True, I do occasionally buy fish there, too
I feel they have pretty decent deals on seafood. I generally pick up the fish/ shrimp deal of the week/ weekend. Its almost as cheap as Costco frozen seafood. I can buy a smaller quantity as I cook just for myself. I can also switch it up this way between varieties of fish and shrimp.
The stuff is clean and they even season it for you if you request at no extra cost.
Is it the cheapest, probably not. But its certainly not very expensive and it certainly is convenient.

Strange. I'm talking cheap, farmed salmon, btw. Rarely does wild caught get that low but sometimes.

2 weeks ago they had wild caught flash frozen Kato samon for $4.99/lb AND there was a 20% seafood coupon that weekend that stacked! Even this past week I got decent looking farmed salmon for $5.99

Hopefully Whole Foods will offer a similar deal, like a $100 GC for $117 or something.

I pick up one of these about twice a year

25 bucks for 5 lbs of wild caught salmon, individually sealed. I usually eat 2 fillets for dinner.
I think its only at the smart and final extra, but i could be wrong.

Interesting. I hate all frozen fish for texture reasons and always buy fresh - thanks for sharing.

Great deal to save some money. Their produce is usually excellent and already cheaper than the regular grocery stores. Packaged goods are definitely more expensive that the discounters. The same with their binned products. Meats cuts are always on sale, especially chicken, and of good quality. Their freshly made sausage comes in a number of varieties and is excellent. Stuffed chicken breasts are kind of boring though. Lots of seasoned meats. Deli products are overpriced compared to the discounters but their made to order sandwiches are nice. The bakery has some good bread varieties. Wednesday is super sale day with both last weeks and the new weeks deals available.
