This model is APS-C, not full frame!
Seriously though, some product research before purchasing would be ideal whoever is interested in this camera lol

Now I'm confused, amazon says 1080p but other sites say 4k for video.

Anyone use this camera with an adapter for Canon EF lenses ? Curious how that works. I looked online and this use-case has mixed reviews.

I'm still on my 5d3. Been wanting to switch to a alpha body and use my canon lenses. Anyone else switch and won't go back to the 5d line? the a7 details in the blacks (dynamic range) is far ahead of the canon. Which is what I'm intrigued by.
Stick with native lenses. Dealing with adapters is a pain in the ass. Not all of the lens will work.

This is tempting me to sell my 6400 but full frame glass would break my bank. 😩
Your 6400 is pretty superior in several ways, especially autofocus. I wouldn't unless you are DYING for some slightly better low light.

If you switch from the MK3, go with the sony a7 III, not the 2. Not a huge jump for you. Most of your lenses will adapt just fine with a Sigma MC-11 adapter.

I went from the 5d3 to A7 II to A7 III and still use a sigma 70-200 2.8. Most canon L series lenses work fantastic adapted as well

I saw one video and even iso on a72 is worse than A6k series. What you get is only depth of field advantage

Need three batteries minimum. 4 is recommended for full day.
Agreed on batteries and wondering if you can still download the Sony Play Memories app?

They are hardly making any APS-C glass in the E mount. Almost everything is full frame, especially the worthwhile glass.

The Sigma trio make the 6400 effective for pretty much all photography (not videographer) needs. But I will want to make the jump to full frame one day.
