Great for the office, ok for home theater is what I've gathered. Hence the 4k lumens

Kinda crap resolution, but it has internal storage with enough room for a RPi or streaming device so its potentially a clean all-in-one solution if it fits your needs.

While the blacks and contrast ratio is appealing, the resolution is kind of a turn off. For me, I would spend an extra $100 and get the Optima or Viewsonic that's on sale on Amazon. But this is pretty good for those that is more on a budget.

Just an FYI, InFocus has stopped manufacturing projectors to be sold in the US as of this year. Their customer service is still active here, but for how long is unknown.

Whoops, nevermind, apparently they just recently struck up an agreement with Ingram Micro:

This projector has no practical home theater use. It is a good projector for decorative and VJ projection mapping. That being said there is a short throw version of this one not sold in the US. I'd buy the short throw used before this one if I'm using it for mapping.

InFocus is a good brand, but this is not a good deal. Lousy resolution and not a particularly good price.
