For the last three or four years I've been working our discover apr down. Finally made it to 13.24 a couple months ago and the lowest rate you can get with discover ("it" anyway) is 12.99.

You call in every 6 months and they will check for an "offer". Usually I can choose between 0% for a year (on new purchases, not on current balance) or .25-.75 permanent lower rate. I've chosen the permanent rate all but one time. A couple of times they had another cash back promo that has had a max value of $75. Also I've learned you have to ask for things specifically they wont volunteer all the offers that are available to you. But sometimes once you actually say "my mom was offered this promo for cash back" or call it out specifically they will give me that too. So ymmv and check around for possible offers before you call.

Everything resets 6 months from your last offer and you can do it again.

Did you get it back to back meaning you got the offer for one year and then once it ends, you immediately ask to get another 0% APR?

Thank you! Did you have to wait 6 months after your first promo ended to get the second promo?

I usually just chat with a rep and they'll tell me any offers available in my account.

In case you haven't seen - 0% and 4% Transfer Fee or 3.99% RAte and a 3% Fee. Given the low interest rates currently - this is a ripoff - just saying as I have a lot of dough earning only 2.25 to 2.5% and feel like Banks are very very and even more Greedy with a lot less supervision in the last 3 years.

Where do they have "Live Chat" option, I don't see it from my account or on their website ?

I have some medical and bracers bills coming up over the next couple of months so I called Discover a week ago asking if this would be available.

First the CSR told me I didn't have any offers but she then said her computer was acting slow and refreshed and the offer was there.
