***Updated with promo code Hello11N19. This code can be used by any valid account, doesn't have to be a new account. However, it is a one time use per account. So choose wisely for max value and use all your secondardy AAFES accounts as well (steps below).
**Disclaimer, this is only for Military members, Veterans and their immediate family members. If you wonder if you are eligible, check guidelines here: https://www.aafes.com/exchange-stores/patrons.htm. Please do not downvote this purely on the fact you aren't eligible.**

AAFES has been pushing really aggressive sales lately, like their Daily Deals that have had some great items. Starting November 8th, Veterans Day sales will begin and could offer some unique sale opportunities. This promo code is valid through November 10th 2019. Please note, max value on this is $100 in savings, so use it wisely. Also, last time around, these codes were one time use per account. So if you have more accounts (steps below), you can use it for more than one purchase, getting more than the $100 limit in savings.

I bought an iPad from them in either 2016 or 2017 but nothing since. From their wording, I don't think I would qualify?

What about another user on the same account?

Oh yeah! It was $199 for the latest iPad... no idea what they call it.. Apple's naming convention lacks much

With the holidays coming up and the fact AAFES has been known to give Veteran's Day Bounce back promo codes and of course, Black Friday sales. If you act quickly, you can get your code before Veterans day and possibly stack the promos. If you signup, codes will be delivered within a week. Please note, max value on this is $100 in savings.

I have been waiting to order either the Sony 65in 900F or 950G so this is going to be great for me to get some extra savings off the TV. I just added an account for my daughter a couple mins ago.
Sony 65in 900F is $999.99, but will be 899.99 with promo.
Sony 65in 950G is 1299.99, but will be 1199.99 with promo.
There are some solid prices for TVs...

AAFES has had some big promo code mishaps in the past, giving out codes that are not unique, but can be used 100's of times. If the code is not unique I will be sure to share it.

So, for those of us who qualify to use the site, but already have an account. You can perform the below steps in order to get the 10% off. In addition, if you can sign up for the Military Star card, first purchases receive 10% off as well, which does stack. So if you meet the YMMV of this, you can get 20% at a minimum, plus whatever sale price that is going on.
  1. Enroll a new account via the link below
  2. Wait for 10% promo email that arrives within a week
  3. Wait for your holiday sale of choice (Veterans, Black Friday, Christmas)
  4. Enjoy some savings!

Please share how you added an account for your daughter, unless she too has served, as I cannot find where that is possible to do and I'd like to provide this for my daughter as well.

I also found it kind of sad that you had to "defend" this deal from those who might take the time to comment & downvote on something they have no connection to, but didn't take the time to serve in some capacity to have earned it.

It looks like if you have a dependent they can sign up for an account. Being active duty/reserves/retired/100% disabled/honorable discharge veteran.

ETA- we have always used my husbands account, so I'm going to sign myself up. I do have to go through vet verify to activate it.

"Embrace the Suck". That is very disrespectful to people who serve and unnecessary to be in the post.
I served and don't feel that comment to be disrespectful. In fact I had a little chuckle in the office, cuz it did suck. It's no fun to be on a flight deck in the middle of the Persian Gulf in full flight deck gear sweating so much you look like you fell in a swimming pool, and leave wet foot prints behind as you walked through the ship because of said sweat. But there were good times too, so it wasn't all "suck". lol I guess it's just all about perspective, but I think I can speak for others that "embracing the suck" isn't disrespectful to us Vets or Active Duty.

Just register your wife or one of your kids. It takes literally 2mins to complete. I just used a different email to be safe. I have 4 accounts off my immediate family at this point.
