Code also valid for gold version as well

Just getting into the watch collection, online reviews do point out that Eterna has been in the watch making business for a long time. I wasn't able to find much on the Men's eternity tho..

Would watch experts recommend this as a first piece to my new addiction?

Is ashford a reputable store? I have never bought from them before. At the same time debsting this or will something better come along? I wonder how the quality of the watch and what brand are? Not the movement but housing, build quality, etc.
Yeah the store is ok. Some complain about returns etc but they're a big outfit and well known. Read the thread and links about the Eterna brand.

they should freaking pay me commission.. heh. but to be fair, very happy with the price and obviously excited about getting this bad boy.

I'm no expert at all but your question is very subjective. I would say that this is a collectable watch but unlikely to go up in value since it's lost market share and therefore not well known. But to experts, I'd imagine they'd say it's a very good automatic watch and representative of a well made timepiece. Also note the size is a little smaller than the 42mm usual with this being 40mm.

the Eternity is in one of their current range of models as evidenced by the actual official website. YouTube have some vids.

Even if you bought at this price, they wouldnt be worth much after some wear?
A guy is selling used on eBay for same price here before this sale.. so I guess it might hold it's initial cost with little wear..

Why are they selling a $1900 watch for $350? Why doesn't anyone on this forum raise this question? Is this another scam shop like jomamashop? Possibly the same owner?
You don't shop much right?

FYI, from the Eterna site, retail on the Eterna Eternity with silver dial is $870.00 not $1900 as stated on Ashford, so the real discount is around 60%
https://www.eterna.com/eternity

Oddly enough some other leather strap and case color combinations for the same watch do retail for $1950

The specs for the watch are here:

The quartz watches retail for around $900. I don't see a single automatic on their website for under 1.5k.

I think you're not looking at the *automatic* for the price on the silver dial...

Same here.

Too close to BF though. I'm gonna wait for other deals.

One thing that sucks about brands like Mido, Certina, Eterna is that if you wanna sell the watch after some use, good luck...
Once you buy one of those brands, you're stuck.
I'm a watch nut. I've had tons of watches. Love to buy them, wear them for a little bit and then sell them so I can grab a new piece. Anytime I've had a lesser known brand, the only way I can sell them off is by taking a huge hit. So if you're a person like me, make sure you wanna keep this in your collection forever...
I'm getting into watches. What qualities of a watch are most important for it holding / increasing value? Is it primarily the brand?

Because it's much more expensive for exactly the same watch? Why do you odd balls even come to slick deals? Really, why? Very strange people.

Right. Brand name is King for basically suckers. Slick dealers go for price and quality over BS... There's really no reason to try and flip watches unless that's going to be your business life..

reason I'm all over this, is because it's a quality watch at a great price. not to flip it. I'm going to actually wear it, daily, while I bust my ass making money to pay for stuff like this.
