Corsair hardware is great... their ICUE software is horrid however... I have the k95 platinum + m65 elite + MS800 + h100i platinum + 32 gb rgb pro vengeance ram + 6 HD120s + commander pro + st100 stand + Corsair rgb headset... + Corsair H850i psu... so I'm a bit of a Corsair fanboy as Corsair and quality go hand in hand...

Now that that's out of the way... the Driver software - ICUE constantly crashes most of the time it recovers but kicks you out of any game your playing, and sometimes your mouse just drops out and you end up having to hard restart your pc sometimes to get it back...

So hardware A+
Software gets a D

Great mouse. The LED is really bright at night but the Corsair software allows for turning off RGB and lowering brightness.

I really want to get this mouse but worried it's height won't be as much as the g403 I have that has a malfunctioning scroll wheel

No offense, but corsair has a horrible design for their peripheral products excepts the headsets.

oh for $2 more maybe get the logitech g203 on sale bestbuy for $20 from $40. BUt. again its very small mouse and the shape wont fit everyone. its shaped like a potatoe and has steep side angles so was very uncomfortable for my hand grip and size

ICUE has never crashed for me. Maybe update your software? Could be an issue with your CPU? I have the same Corsair RAM as you and no issues.

I'm gonna pick up a second one and put it away in case they discontinue this mouse. I hate that it's a cheaper sensor and that they don't sell a better version of this mouse. That said I absolutely love mine and haven't had any issues. This mouse is perfect for claw grip and I haven't found another mouse that's even close to this one. Claw grip is like just using your fingers instead of resting your whole palm on the mouse. My middle finger rests on the scroll wheel and I use the the wheel down click for a main button and ring finger sits on the right mouse button. It's a weird grip and most mice suck because they're to wide or the wheel is too smooth and rolls when your finger is resting on it

The only thing is it's ambi which means right handed mouse users are sacrificing some aspect of the shape since it has to work in the left hand as well.

I just went to my local BB to pick up the Harpoon mouse so I'll have to see how I feel about it after a day of use. Basically, this is a $18 mouse and really not a $30 one. It's smaller than most mice as well. Really light weight as well.
