You have no idea what anyone is opening. No need to crap on anyone. If you don't like the deal or it doesn't apply to you move on.

What a silly comment; you should try contributing more and flapping less. Have you ever considered that some individuals are at the age where they can no longer open cans by hand and require an electric opener? Be gone troll.

-------------------------------
My real concern here is the fact that there is a ton of competition in the price range with the same features. Additionally this price seems really damn close to standard pricing.

Current $14.99 Nov 01, 2019
Highest $30.51 Jan 18, 2012
Lowest $14.99 Nov 01, 2019
Average $19.05

So, you're basically saving $4 on what is most likely an impulse buy. Hardly a slick deal; just simply a cheap appliance. There are countless cheap appliances and far better deals out there.

Bed Bath and Beyond sell these for $19.99 all day long and always have 20%+ coupons available. You can easily get this at this price from them any time of the day.

Read 1-star reviews, looks like this thing is not heavy enough and tips over while/after opening larger cans.
Also, Fakespot review grade is "C", make your own conclusions.

I have it for 12 years and it's still working great, way better than a manual can opener, and we don't use it every day, just few times a week but still worth it!

I need something for my set but still good enough to use, just became dull over the years of use.

How good is the knife sharpener?

I would never recommend something like this for sharpening any decent knives.

It was sold as Hamilton Beach Portfolio 15 years ago. Same shape, size, color, etc. Still use it today. No idea how far can opener technology has come and what it may be missing. However, it's been durable. Most practical Christmas gift I received.

I bought it a week or two ago from Amazon - same price.

Pretty happy with it, for only $15. I think it'll hold up well for five or ten years of use.

I got this for my wife because she finds it hard to open can with manual one. But this one felt like it is made of cheap stuff and broke after opening 10 cans over 6 months. I open cans now with the manual opener.
