Amazon Echo Buds 25% off with Echo device trade-in

+26 Deal Score
24,536 Views
Amazon is running an "Upgrade and Save" program for Echo devices. Link [amazon.com]

You got an Amazon gift card for the trade-in value of the device, and then 25% off a new Echo device.

The new Echo Buds qualifies as a new Echo device. So if you trade in an old Echo device, you can get 25% off, making the total just below $100.

Echo Buds link [amazon.com]

Just click on "Upgrade and save with Trade-in" button above the "Add to cart" button on the product page to start the trade-in process.

I was able to trade in my old 2nd generation echo dot and got the 25% off.

Exactly what I did... Echo buds are not in the list of items that's part of the program, but the trade-in coupon works.

Did you wait for yours to be shipped before posting this OP? Big Grin

I actually tried to cancel my order after reading/watching reviews, but it was too late. Too much overlap between Echo buds, Jabra 75t and AirPods Pros. So, Echo Buds will go back, even though their price point was very attractive at less than $100 after this promo.

I posted the deal right after I ordered.
I only have the Galaxy Buds and this one has active noise reduction. I will be bringing this
on my upcoming trip and try them on the plane.
Also from online reviews, it seems the call quality of the Echo Buds are better than the Galaxy's.

I have these and like them more than my galaxy buds. Having the passive or noise reduction option is the best feature.

Anyone know if the Echo Studio works with the trade in discount?

Edit: Looks like the Studio comes out tomorrow, will see if the upgrade discount works then.

So, if you've got an Echo Dot 2, instead of giving it away for some credits, consider using.it. Unlike Gen 3 Dots it charges/powers through through USB. Run it through a portable charging bank or your car with hotspot and a Bluetooth speaker to do things.
