These are not as good and sturdy as the vesa mount capable monitors. I used these brackets for dell monitors and it takes a lot of effort for me to move the monitors and they don't the monitors straight for me

Always leave monitors in native resolution. If it's not wide enough, look at 2K or 4K displays.

Remember back when cheap laptops came with 1366x768 displays, and everyone complained about how terrible that resolution was until eventually laptop manufacturers have (mostly) stopped using those low resolution screens? Well this monitor has pretty much the same pixel density as those displays, just spread over a larger area.

It might be an okay budget choice for using freesync with an xbox one s. If you're thinking of using it for PC gaming, note that the lack of displayport means the freesync won't work with Nvidia cards

Edit: Looking into it further I can't even recommend this for gaming consoles etc, as it has no audio out port. So if you hook up a console/media player etc via HDMI, there's no way to plug in speakers or headphones
