VIZIO 5.1.2-Channel Soundbar System w/ 6" Wireless Subwoofer & Dolby Atmos EXPIRED

I've been eyeing the SB36512-F6 for awhile now and will probably bite on this or at Costco for the extended warranty.

I wonder if we'll see any deals on the SB36514-G6, which was $480 on Prime Day at Amazon. Anyone have experience with the newer model? Worth the upgrade?

Keep in mind the model you mentioned (SB36514-G6) is a different configuration than this one, this one is 5.1.2 as opposed to 5.1.4.

We bought an excellent condition open box of this soundbar (SB36512-F6) earlier this year at Best Buy (for $300 back in March) and have been pleasantly surprised. It was a major upgrade from what we had before (a stereo 2.1 system).

You will find some information with some people having stability issues with this particular model and having to get it warranty replaced but thus far the issues we have encountered haven't been enough to go through the hassle of that process.

At this point, on recent firmware about the only issue we have is every once in a while we go to play something and just don't have audio and glance over and it's because it has effectively turned itself off for whatever reason and won't turn back on via the remote or the physical buttons on the soundbar itself. We have to pull the power plug and plug it back in and then it turns on fine. We've only had to do it a handful of times and it's all been just recently so I'm guessing maybe it's a bug in firmware version we have.

At this price if you are looking to dip your toe into Atmos this is a great deal and I would recommend it to anyone.

Can this pass Dolby vision?

Has anyone had this one for a while and not had issues? I picked up the previous-gen non-Atmos Vizio 3651 from a few years ago and was pleased with it but after about 2.5 years the subwoofer randomly blew and started to rattle all the time. No one sells that gen anymore so I am looking to get either this Atmos version or the non-Atmos version and Im hoping it will last me longer than 2.5 more years.

Did you get a stand for it? If so, which one? From reviews it looks like the RCA plug makes the wire not able to go through most slim stands.

We did not. Ended up mounting them up in the rear corners of the room because when I was initially researching stands it didn't seem like there were many options because of that.

I'd love to find some stands that work because up the corners is really too high but it's working for now.

If anyone has suggestions on stands that would work that would be great.

Thats one is not Dolby atmos. It is not 5.1.2 channel like this one.

None of your linked system supports Atmos. Some are even 2.1.

Why do you keep bringing up different systems being cheaper? If you have a comparable Atmos system for cheaper I am all ears.
