Good size but chunky, and doesn't appear to be an IPS display.

If this is anything like the one that Costco carries the fan noise on this thing is loud and annoying. Ended up returning it and for a Lenovo

Do your research before buying this line from HP! I have the 360 Spectre, model 13-4002dx. I have already had the motherboard repaired for burned out components in the charging/power circuit and now it has broken again in less than 12 months. Looking it up online shows too many reports of this exact issue to be a "coincidence".

I can say, that when it was working, I loved this laptop. The aluminum build, the responsiveness of the system overall, the size, battery life, even the touchscreen, were all elements I was extremely happy about.

Now, it's about $700 to repair through HP and of course, it is out of warranty.

Great laptop, questionable build components, and expensive service outside of warranty.

Just bought the Ryzen version for $50 more at Costco. Did I make a mistake?
Yes you did. AMD fan or not, this performs better with 10th gen Intel.

Any feedback on how does it compare with the HP laptop at Costco for $399. This one is $100 more expensive and the only downside at Costco one is no backlit keyboard.

Costco laptop is different, it's not a 360 hinge that can flip like the Best Buy version. If that's not a feature you care about, I'd say the Costco one is a better deal since it would come with a 4 year warranty if purchased with the Costco Visa card.

Ok - can someone explain the differences between the various hp x360 14" Chromebooks? This one seems to be a year old, but there's this one (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-2...Id=6367729) that I think is the newest model. Is the new one better? I wonder what the differences are, other than the processors.

Deciding between this and the open box Lenovo 730 2 in 1 at Best Buy for $700. The chunk, reviews of loud fan make me consider the +$200 for a used, thinner and lighter 8th gen processor equivalent

I've been patiently waiting for Dell to ship a G7 I ordered last week with a i7 9750 and a 1660 ti. I am not a gamer, but I do some video editing. Would I be better off canceling the dell order and getting this (and updating ram)?

Edit: this is half the price of the g7 I have ordered

BEWARE I bought one today, and it was DENTED! Between the two hinges. Now I have to drive back to the store where I picked it up from. I did notice the box was dented, and i asked about it. the customer service rep replied "oh that's fine, it'll be fine"

I might contact HP and inform them that Best Buy is pushing damaged goods as new.

Always inspect the hardware if the box is dented, regardless of what the employee says. This is common sense, especially when purchasing expensive electronics.
