I bought one this morning as well. I hope my bunghole likes it.
Designed to... vs warranted until are different things. If you are providing warranty that is meaningful, then yes! Otherwise, it is as good as saying that it "can" last 20 years.
Average life span is 4+ years. The BB-800 on sale a couple of weeks ago is 7+ years. The only difference between the two is the remote vs side panel, deodorizer vs no deodorizer, and dual nozzle vs 3-in-1 single nozzle. Also, the BB-800 has a turbo wash (enema wash) and uses higher water flow to clean, which translates into better cleaning.

We've owned this model as well for over a year now. The whole family loves it. My only issues have been that the pressure seems weak when compared to a manual, non-electric one, and the heated water is not "on demand" and can run out early if used back to back.

Excellent point. These products include a 3 year warranty and are easily maintained well beyond that. We take pride in our products and our customers, and offer personalized support to ensure the long term functionality of each unit.

Thanks, $11ish dollars more still seems good.
