I did loads of research (see what I did there), for a previous purchase and just noticed this deal popped up for Black Friday. This is the best washing machine for most people. It is the model most similar to the #1 pick from Wirecutter (WM3770, which I own and love, but is being discontinued) and it is #1 rated by Consumer Reports. WM3900 and WM3770 are superior to WM3700 ($100 cheaper), due to the Turbo wash feature which can wash a load in 30 mins thanks to special 360 degree jets, this cycle is real value not fluff.

Lowes and Home Depot just slashed prices on appliances for BF, but I'd go with Lowes due to much more generous return policy (30 days vs 48 hours) and ability to get 10% off codes at Lowes that make this deal even Slicker. You may also be able to get rebates from your local utility for going green.

I have the predecessor of this washer, the WM3470. It's 7 years old, heavily used and abused, and we recently had our first problem with it. The drain pump went bad. A handy person could have fixed it with the help of YouTube and a $25 part. We aren't handy, so it was a $150 repair bill. Overall, I've been really happy with it. Our previous front loader, a GE, broke a drum bearing in less than 6 years and was junked.

Looks like Lowe's is cracking down on the coupons as there are no longer any online or 10% off coupons on eBay. There are some in store coupons on eBay however, $20 off $100,
$30 off $50 and $100 off $600. YMMV I assume.

My wife and I just bought this and the dryer from Sears because they are having 10% off appliance purchases through their app and another 10% off for using Sears Card. Plus they have $100 in Shop Your Way Cashback rewards when you spend $100+.

Here was our breakdown of cost:
Washer + Dryer + Sidekick Pedestal including installation for $2,099.97
-10% off for shopping in app -$189 (not sure the math there)
-10% off for Sears card -$210
+Sales tax +$139.23
+Installation $145.xx
-$50.41 redeemed points

Total: $1934.79

-$118 in SYW cashback
-$150 LG rebate for buying sidekick with washer purchase

$1,666.79 net cost unless I'm missing something.
Thank you for the breakdown of cost. If you're still wondering how they came up with the $189 as 10% off, it is because they first took off 10% from $2099.97 because you used your Sears card. After that, your new principal was roughly $1889.97. 10% off from that is approximately $189.

I'm planning to buy this from Costco because of the inexpensive warranty. An additional 3 years of Square Trade warranty is only $80, making the total $910 including delivery, installation, and removal of old appliance.
Is there any reason to get the squaretrade warranty if I'm using the Citi Costco card?

I miss my LG a lot. Currently live in a building that has Speed Queen machines and they are literally junk! Some reason the drain cycle kicks in 3 min into the wash for all of the machines and then it washes so you have to re add detergent. Clothes come out beat up and smell very bad since they don't properly wash. I don't know how the heck people say speed queen machines are good. I hope to move out by the end of next year and will looking for another place that specifically allows me to buy my own washer versus using what they give me and it will for sure be an LG. The LG served us well for 15 years and my clothes never wore out at all. One thing I hate about LG however is service calls are absolutely terrible since the CS is so rude and terrible

Thanks for posting this deal.
I checked Costco for this model and the price is $830 which is $30 more then what you posted but can have upto 4 years of warranty (if using Citi card).
Do you think its worth it buying from Costco?
Definitely go for longer warranty, especially for $30 more. No matter how well is this one rated, you can be unlucky. So for piece of mind..

Solid price on this washer, especially if you can stack other coupons on it. I picked up the 3770 (the #1 on wire cutter) and the accompany gas dryer last year for $600 each and love them (price mistake). Assuming this is similar to the 3770, it's definitely worth getting if you're in the market, with or without the 10% Lowe's movers coupon.

Looks like Best Buy is matching as well on both black and white, and there are some open box items for additional savings:

You bought the Styler or Vacuum with this to get the $300 rebate?

Hoses should be replaced every 5 years, you should buy new ones and spend the money to get a good set. Imagine how bad it is when they fail.

When you go to the Lowe's store the price is actually 698 not 798. We went to purchase this on Tuesday when the sale started. We however decided to go with a much stronger duo by Maytag, it's a COMMERCIAL grade washer that is at 648 and it is usually $1100 each.
Lowe's is giving a rebate on ALL appliances, a bigger rebate than Home Depot and Lowe's coverage is impeccable!!! We have been doing research for over a year on both HD and Lowe's and Lowe's by far has a more reliable policy.
The one reason why we chose not to go with this LG brands was because the length in time for repair due to their manufacturers being in S. Korea and read much that the WiFi wasn't that great so we went with the Maytag which it is a beast! -Maytag washer MHW5630HC we both the gas dryer with it.

DEAL IS LIMITED TO WHAT IS AVAILABLE AT THE WAREHOUSE!!

I wouldn't purchase this at Costco! Costco's policy is you have to go through them, then they become the middle man and it is such a headache because the middle man decides what you get from the manufacturer! Go to Lowe's, you're going to get a way better deal and policy to help you. My parents always told me, don't eat lobster at a steak house; that's not their specialty! The same thing applies here, Costco isn't a great place for appliance purchases.
