I did loads of research (see what I did there), for a previous purchase and just noticed this deal popped up for Black Friday. This is the best washing machine for most people. It is the model most similar to the #1 pick from Wirecutter (WM3770, which I own and love, but is being discontinued) and it is #1 rated by Consumer Reports. WM3900 and WM3770 are superior to WM3700 ($100 cheaper), due to the Turbo wash feature which can wash a load in 30 mins thanks to special 360 degree jets, this cycle is real value not fluff.

Lowes and Home Depot just slashed prices on appliances for BF, but I'd go with Lowes due to much more generous return policy (30 days vs 48 hours) and ability to get 10% off codes at Lowes that make this deal even Slicker. You may also be able to get rebates from your local utility for going green.

Having warranty is important these days (sigh!). Even though LG is #1 in reliability, and seemingly very good (much better than others, incl. Samsung), they still could have issues and customer service is overseas etc. You can always use Costco Visa card at any retailer to get the extra 2 years, stacked on top of manufactures 1 yr, for a total of 3 yr. And if you buy from Costco then it'd be 4 years, as you suggest. Don't forget you can get Lowes 10% codes and stack, so price difference could be $110, for that difference I'd probably go with Lowes.
I'm planning to buy this from Costco because of the inexpensive warranty. An additional 3 years of Square Trade warranty is only $80, making the total $910 including delivery, installation, and removal of old appliance.
Reading the description this does not include the pedestal washer. That's an extra $400.

We just got this washer a dryer set 3 mo ago it's phenomenal for washing.. The wifi on this washer is sketchy it keeps dropping the pairing of the machine with with the network . It is a known iaaue and apparently LG is "still" coming out with a firmware fix. Otherwise great deal with the pedestal

Thanks for posting this deal.
I checked Costco for this model and the price is $830 which is $30 more then what you posted but can have upto 4 years of warranty (if using Citi card).
Do you think its worth it buying from Costco?

What's the matching dryer to this? Is it also on sale? I'd prefer gas over electric.

Oh, and for those planning to use a 10% off at Lowe's on this, when I bought my LG Fridge and Dishwasher there a couple months back, they said they could only take 5% off due to some new policy where expensive brand name stuff like this wouldn't allow their products to be discounted that much when already on a sale, something like that. YMMV, but for that reason alone I'll probably make my next purchase at Home Depot and hope they don't have that nonsense at check out.

I'd say definitely go with Costco, I just purchased this set (washer/dryer) last night and while it did cost me about $100 more than going with HomeDepot/Lowes, there are no delivery/installation/haul-away costs. That would have easily been over $100. Not to mention buying it with my Citi card, which gives me 2 additional years of warranty ( 4 total = 2 LG + 2 Citi).

Try the coupon online and see if it discounts 10%. I was able to get it working for a deal during memorial day sale.

Imho pedestal washer is a gimmick, unlikely to provide a good wash and something else to break.
