Guys ..get only atomic clocks. You never have to change time twice a year. It's done automatically for you!

But you change batteries three times as much.

Not really. I've been using the same set of 2xAAA batteries for my atomic wall clock for more than 2 years now and it's still going strong. It's great never have to climb up the stairs to remove the clock and change the time twice a year.

I would be annoyed to be awoken by a song in the middle of the night.
Is there any way to silence the clock overnight, other than manually adjust the volume every night before going to bed?

It has light sensor, so the volume adjusts by the intensity of light in the room.

I had another Seiko, it had a switch you can flip between the various music sets. I assume this one is the same

I used to think this too, till I bought a bunch. About half get a signal and correct the time within a day or two. The other half I have to change manually. Twp of them recently started eating batteries. Have to change them once a month. I want to switch to WIFI clocks, bit they are too expensive.
Anyone know where to buy cheap WIFI clocks?

I understand what you are saying. The smart speakers/clocks are the best way to go but more expensive. Go on eBay and look for "Insignia Smart Speakers" and see what you can find. I bought a few of them and they not only display the time, but also the temperature. They also have Google Assistant built in! Prices are very good for used or refurbished ones. Just remember they come in 2 sizes, small and large.

Thanks for the reply. I will look into this, though I have no need for Google or speakers and I would prefer a clock on the wall.
