Thoughts on this machine for the price? I think it's pretty good?

Only 8GB of ram, no SSD, A320M chipset, probably crappy PSU are things that are not great

This is not a deal. Old Ryzen chip, only 8gigs of ram probably a crappy Mobo and the PSU is probably terrible. For this price you could build a better machine with quality parts.

I bought a skytech prebuilt pc in the past and the psu literally blew up on me after a few months. Risky buy.

Underwhelming components. Much better deals to be had. If you were in the market for this PC, you probably shouldn't pay over 500 for it.

2070 is around $400. It's worth more. The main issue is they skimped on non flashy components like PSU or Mobo

Nice little PC.

2070 costs more than half of the cost of this PC alone.

People acting like the 2700 is some 8 year old CPU not capable of playing current games is laughable. Could always upgrade to a Ryzen 3xxx in the future as well.

"Only 8GB'" Okay so? Buy another 300hz stick then, their cheap enough nowadays. The one in the PC comes with a heatspreader as well.

"Cheap psu" 600w 80 plus certified, you'll be fine.

Also comes with a free Keyboard and Mouse.

My buddy told me it's kinda a low tier brand and recommended this iBUYPOWER Gaming PC Computer Desktop Element 9260 (Intel Core i7-9700F 3.0Ghz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB, 16GB DDR4, 240GB SSD, 1TB HDD, WiFi & Windows 10 Home) Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V34Q...XDbMT3F27G just waiting for it to drop $100-200 for blackFriday

All I can say that not having an SSD is criminal. It's unironically the most important part of a computer to me. And I fear someone getting a pre-built wouldn't realistically buy and install an SSD.

That is a really weak system for $1k. You're also overpaying for intel and it's not even a great chip.

This comment is very shilly. Nobody in the comments is criticizing the Ryzen 2700.

The PSU in this thing is probably one step above a fire hazard.

Ryzen 2700 is fine but you can get a 2700x for $130 + $30 off a non-shit tier MOBO at microcenter. The MOBO in this prebuilt is likely garbage too.

Why even bother with a 2700 and 2070 with only 8gb of ram? You're gimping the system from the get-go. The people buying this machine don't want to add in an additional stick of ram, that's why they are buying a prebuilt. Also, the lack of SSD is hilarious.

This machine is overpriced and low quality. They jam a 2070 in there to make it seem like a good deal. You can build a better system for less if you put it together yourself. Or even pay microcenter to do it with the parts you pick out and it'll be better than this prebuilt.
