Based upon the quoted 680 Lumens, these are more like 45 watt equivalent than 60 watt. A 60 watt equivalent bulb ought to put out around 900 Lumens.

One strike against simply for false advertising.

GE Bulbs and Cree Bulbs are absolute garbage. Failure rates are down right criminal if not fraudulent. Stay away.
Philips is the only company that has made a good transition from Incandescent to LED.

I somehow managed to get free shipping. Not sure how. I kept going back and forth through the checkout process to add more or take some away and then try a few promo codes out. Eventually instead of 3 choices for shipping it only listed UPS ground for a few dollars more then the previous cheapest choice. I selected it and hit next and it never added shipping cost to the total.

any experience with amazon basics brand? ive had them on my CCC list for a while. primarily looking for standard bulbs, 100w dimmable.
