Ridgid 12v drill and impact kit with 2 batteries. Factory blemished but includes LIFETIME SERVICE AGREEMENT just as any other new Ridgid. Free shipping or $7 depending on if they're running their sale that day. This kit sells all day at Home Depot for $119 and rarely if ever goes on sale.

Where are you seeing these blemished tools are covered by LSA? I'm seeing only 3 year per their warranty page:

RIDGID Warranty Information
RIDGID Three-Year Limited Warranty
- All RIDGID Factory Blemished Power Tools and Outdoor Equipment are covered by a 3-year warranty.

- *You must retain your receipt as proof of purchase for the use of warranty.

Good call, at the Direct Tools store near me I was told the blems had the LSA but as you stated I don't see that to be true online. 👎🏻 3 year warranty instead

I've been told that blems are eligible for LSA as well, but I haven't bought any there yet to try it out. Hopefully someone that has experience trying to register a Direct Tools purchase can share their experience.

Also, is it just me that has to click Direct Tools links twice? The first click to see the deal (and snowdrifter's) lands me on a sign-in page, but I close that tab and click the link again which brings me to the product page.

this company/website is the worst. they cancel parts of your order because things suddenly aren't "in stock", but ship you the rest with the full shipping. only way to cancel the order is to pay a 20% restocking fee.

they will give you an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE on returning items that arent working. force you to pay return shipping, then try to tell you the item works and not refund you, or ship the item back.

customer service is ABSOLUTELY the rudest most unprofessional people ive ever talked to(and im quite polite and patient).

can you get a decent deal? maybe. but you better damn well hope you dont have issues, or they will rake you over the coals, and you have ZERO recourse.

Ok, according to the store directly....BLEMISHED tools still have the LSA as a new one. Reconditioned do not. So this would fall in the LSA category. If I get the kit soon I'll confirm.

Ok, since what I thought was a good deed was getting shot down I thought i'd do more homework. Yes the factory blemished come with a 3 year warranty AND the LSA. They are not considered the same thing (for whatever reason.)

Their site says - This Lifetime Service Agreement is not a warranty; it does not alter or limit the 3-Year Limited Service Warranty provided with your product, and it is not intended to create any implied warranties or rights of any kind including any warranties of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

I spoke to direct tools and the warranty department at ridgid TTI. So yes, these blemished tools are in all ways considered new and can be registered for the LSA which replaces worn out parts and batteries on your tools.

In talking on the phone with both direct tools AND Ridgid they confirmed that blem tools are considered new in all ways and are covered with the LSA. I'll likely try this to find out for sure.

Love this tool. Almost worth it just for the batteries.

Thanks for the info. With the LSA, I'm tempted to jump on this. I've been looking at the Milwaukee m12 driver and ratchet, but at this price, I might be pushed toward the ridgid.

No problem. I agree, and I've had the deWalt, milwaukee, and (used) the ridgid 12 drills. I loved my deWalts but the triggers all started to fail. Wasn't impressed with the Milwaukee non brushed at all. For the money, this is the absolute set to buy. Comes with a big battery and LSA. Best for the money

Taking a chance on this based in everyone's comments.

THIS thread is what I love about Slickdeals. Honest post, useful commentary, community. Keep it up, my thanks to all.

Once anyone receives and processes LSA please let us all know.

If anyone has qualms about purchasing from Direct Tools (the factory outlet for TTI, the company that manufactures Ryobi, Ridgid, Milwaukee, etc.) because of the rare negative postings about them like seen above, check out the recent Ryobi circular saw deal to see many postings of positive experiences with them.

I think all companies drop the ball once in a while, but generally speaking, Direct Tools has a positive track record.
