I wouldn't put too much into the Amazon Choice. Saw in the news a discussion about It, & doesn't really have any importance. It may all be based on sales and not quality. The winner isn't always the cheapest option, or the one with the five-star rating. Amazon's Choice is also particularly sensitive to the specific words consumers use.

Below excerpts from BuzzFeed news: https://www.buzzfeednews.com/arti...jeff-bezos [buzzfeednews.com]

"Look up almost any item on Amazon, and you'll see an "Amazon's Choice" badge in the search results."

"The eye-catching badge signals what Amazon says are "highly rated, well-priced products available to ship immediately" — but following a recent BuzzFeed News report that the company awards the distinction to listings with manipulated reviews and inferior products, Sens. Bob Menendez, a New Jersey Democrat, and Richard Blumenthal, a Connecticut Democrat, are calling for Amazon to explain how it determines which products receive the label."

"Products labeled with "Amazon's Choice" see a threefold increase in sales, according to a 2018 study by the firm OC&C Strategy Consultants. That sales bump is due, in part, to how voice shopping with Amazon's Alexa assistant works. When a customer places an order with Alexa and they haven't already purchased a product in that category, the assistant defaults to recommending products labeled "Amazon's Choice."

"The senators' letter cites an example from the BuzzFeed News report of a thermometer labeled as "Amazon's Choice," despite numerous reviews that the thermometer does not accurately measure temperature. The product was also marketed by Amazon as "good for adding to your baby registry," but the product's instructions clearly state that the thermometer is not designed for use on newborns."

That's being said, my personal experience is product with the label is less likely to find flaws and ended up returning. The price is not always a factor, similar to Costco, the quality and designs are. Anyhow, I find the label served my purpose of selecting from the many similar products on Amazon among which many are one off low quality counterfeit to the extent I simply don't have time and energy to track and test most of them, while there is lack of a liable means to rely on for taking selection except this label. It may not be the best indicator but at this point it's probably the only meaningful way to go with. After all, it's Amazon's reputation at stake than many no name brands or sellers who merely use Amazon as a retail channel.

Ok. Newbie on this topic but can someone please answer these: Anyone using outside on the patio and any guesses on the type of wiring to the outside? All discussion has been wiring for the kitchen. Also, can you use a cast iron skillet on this? Thanks in advance.
wiring outside requirements are different per Local Jurisdiction. Need to check with your city and/or electricians. Not an easy question to answer.

We bought this piece of garbage and it arrived this week. Used it once and now it gives the E2 error if we try to turn it on.

I agreed but not with you. I was right that you had never opened your physics book (if there were one to start with).
