Have two elites. Great guns. Only thing is...if you have younger kids they may not be able to pull back the cocking slide. Shots with good precision and speed. Tip...dip the hole ends in water ( I stick them in my mouth to moisten them) for more speed/accuracy. I usually use this gun againt my kids' battery powered guns. Hey...we can still have fun as parents. ( I try to recreate the old American Gladiator tennis ball shooting event...the gauntlet?)
It gets much easier over time.
Also don't forget eye protection!

The disruptor is horrible. Every chamber in the barrel shoots diffrent. We have 3 of them the accuracy is garbage compared to a decent single shot gun
I have it, and it's not the disruptor, it's the nerf bullets that causes this. Get all new, and they seem to shoot in same speed, but accuracy is not going to be great. Also disruptor is not meant to be super accurate, just hold back the trigger, and keep pulling the recharge to shoot one right after another with super speed, unload the chamber when the guy is running..

I was going to poke fun at you for "licking the hole to moisten" the darts 😜, but I like how you brought back some memories of American Gladiators. That was my favorite segment. It was either called Gauntlet or Assault.

Agreed, bought a couple of the Disruptors a few years ago and they are terrible. Jams all of the time...which doesn't work great when someone is pelting you with darts. I was able to open the gun up and modify to jam less, but still not great even after that.
we have 1 and I love it. carrys 6 darts, hasn't jammed, and shoots nice.

So is this a no go for a 4 year girl? Do you have to cock it every shot or is it something I can do for her and she can shoot me 6 times with it? Thanks!
Yep, you need to cock it for each shot.

I would think its going to be tough for her. I know my girls had a tough time around that age. I bought my girls the battery powered ones, Elite Stryfe.
It a magazine style .

But each kid it a bit different.

Megalodon is OOS again, unfortunately. And doesn't look like the Walmart site is price matching.

Yeah...I had to watch how I worded that for to make sense but not sound super perv.

We have several guns, two of these. I love this one playing with the kids. Not sure what the wife paid for them, but I know it wasn't $7.50! To good times!

Yeah, I bought that exact gun for my oldest boy, who was 5 or 6 at the time. It seemed like a home run, battery powered, he didn't have to cock each shot.
problem 1, it needed to hold a button to ramp up. He didn't do that. it would jam
problem 2, over stuffing the magazine, jammed the gun, it didn't really need much for it to consider itself over stuffed
problem 3, old darts jammed the gun since they deformed.
problem 4, reloading was a lot harder in all out nerf wars on the run
problem 5, it would jam just because it felt like it.
