Price for unlocked Samsung Galaxy S9 dropped to $399 today morning and with 20% back in rewards for Amazon Prime Store Card holders, this makes it the cheapest price since the $350 deal that was last seen few months ago.

If you are in need of a decent smartphone, then $320 (effectively) is a good price.

When i try to checkout, it says a "get 5% back on select item" when I choose my amazon store card, not 20% as per this deal. Can someone help me here?

Never mind. I see it now

Good price. Samsung makes nice phones, screen and camera are hard to beat. I just switched from an S7 to an iPhone 8 but really miss the AMOLED screen and wider aperture on the s7 camera (although the iPhone has it's advantages).

Hello, I was about to pull the trigger on this but read the reviews. This item seems to have the amazon 'bin' issue where they get a whole bunch of product in from multiple sellers and put them in a bin so you have no idea what you will get. Lots of people complaining that these are not new and are failing shortly after receiving. Also, incorrect product in the box, missing phone, etc. It may be worth it to try but not sure I am willing to take the chance.

I have an Amazon card but have not used it for a while and do not remember how long it takes for rewards to be posted on account. Can someone let me know. Thanks in advance.

How's battery life
I bought this phone when it came out, battery life is great (and is still great), and it easily goes a full day with using it often. I don't think I've had to do a mid-day charge ever. Love this phone and recommend it highly!

Good price for someone who doesn't need the newest phone. I still have the 8+ and it's been going strong so I'm going to wait. If the same deal was for the 9+, I might be tempted to get one, but it's $100 more. Does the same deal apply to the 9+?
Not much difference from S8 jump to S9. The only real difference was the AR Emoji that got popular at the time that you can now download anyways. Wait for the S10 as the camera is vastly improved.

I saw the same thing but if you click on the link that says "additional ... " you get the following message

Prime Card Bonus Offer: Get 5% back, and additional 15% rewards on the amount charged to this card

Same. I've had mine for about a year and it's easily the best phone I've had. I also carry an iPhone XR for work. Both are great devices but now that iPhone has removed the fingerprint sensor I find myself back to my S9 more often and am still very happy with it.

Was $300 back in July without any of this points nonsense. Should be under $300 since phones depreciate in value over time

I believe it was 299 during prime day so may be best to wait till black Friday if you're not in a rush. Otherwise, good deal for prime members who need a phone now

Must resist the temptation. Just replaced the battery AGAIN on my adequate S5 (don't laugh...OK I might deserve a bit of ribbing) for $10. The camera and video display are still amazing. It's my way of protesting the money grab by manufacturers to force customers to upgrade often by no longer making phones with replaceable batteries and pushing out new versions of the OS. How long should I continue to resist?
