Price for unlocked Samsung Galaxy S9 dropped to $399 today morning and with 20% back in rewards for Amazon Prime Store Card holders, this makes it the cheapest price since the $350 deal that was last seen few months ago.

If you are in need of a decent smartphone, then $320 (effectively) is a good price.

Can I ask where you purchased your battery, I am in exactly the same boat as you...Stay Strong! I just replaced a broken screen in my S5 and it works great, except of course for the battery
Yes my S5 brothers, stay strong! I also rock the S5 sport and have never had to even replace the battery. I use it with no case, it is essentially water proof, and it has an RFID (sp?) so I can turn off CNN at airports.

This is tempting but the S10 is just a little bit more and it is the current generation and 8GB of RAM. Tough choice for this.

probably easily 2 x P4 battery life and 1/2 x P4 price.

Why no case? Is it to extend the battery life by keeping it cooler?I've dropped my phone and sat on it in my back pocket a few times and no doubt the case protected it. Never cracked the glass. You lost me about the RFID and CNN. Why is it playing on a phone that some phones can't turn off.

Agreed. Got the S9+ 64GB Unlocked from a reputable merchant on eBay 2 months ago for 400 total.

Not the cheapest price, but I don't know if I would wanna wait until Black Friday. Flagship phones don't go on sale often and when they do it's usually with upgrades or activation with your service only

new phones got rid of the part that allows you to use your phone as a universal remote control. no case because my phone is super thin and i own it, so if it breaks not the end of the world

The description says GSM but I believe this will work on CDMA as well. Can anybody confirm?

Yeah, I got it from Amazon on Prime Day for $330 too. BF is sure to bring a better deal.

I thought about the same but I am already a Cricket customer and their price for me would be $599. Trying to add a new line would require to pay $55 additional so before tax it will be $329, essentially the same price. However, I don't want to bother with the additional line.
i thought you need to keep the new line on Cricket for 6 months? can you cancel the additional line on Cricket after 1 or 2 months? Cricket might have the S10e for 300 similar to last year.

Must resist the temptation. Just replaced the battery AGAIN on my adequate S5 (don't laugh...OK I might deserve a bit of ribbing) for $10. The camera and video display are still amazing. It's my way of protesting the money grab by manufacturers to force customers to upgrade often by no longer making phones with replaceable batteries and pushing out new versions of the OS. How long should I continue to resist?
I'm also staying strong having just replaced the battery. I'm really here because of memory size; I keep running out of space, even moving things to the SD card. Its frustrating.

Anyway, no prime card so not buying it but 5 has been great and other than the memory issue, I'm still loving it and glad I have skipped so many of the middle iterations of this line.

I replaced the screen of my Note 3 a few months ago and the charging port a couple of months ago. I am hoping Note 9 will drop down to prime day price $650 or lower. But I feel I may have missed the boat.

I believe it was 299 during prime day so may be best to wait till black Friday if you're not in a rush. Otherwise, good deal for prime members who need a phone now
It was $350 on prime day.
