I have Britax Boulevard as primary and don't want to spend another $300 for second car seat.

Experts, between extend 2 fit and slim fit in this deal, which one do you suggest?

I have Boulevard too. Looking for something lighter for travel and this is perfect. This is convertible to booster also. Extend2fit is not I believe.

Just a word of caution: please look at the head rest, this design is the poorest that one can think. Understandably it's built for safety, but once the baby is put in place it can not move, especially the head gets jammed as the baby grows. My son is 3 months old, he just cannot get in, he is 50th percentile baby. So bear in mind, this may work for 0-4 months may be depending on the size of the baby .... that's the reason I believe these deals show up with such low prices. Test your baby on this specific car seat and then buy, else you will likely end up wanting to return. Good luck !

Any idea if this os OK for a small car. I mean after this , will there be enough space in the back seat for 2 people?

Yes. Designed for up to 35 pound child. While weights and height vary wildly - the average weight of a three year old is in the 30 pound neighborhood. It is a rear facing design, which my pediatrician recommends for 2 years. If you look online at pictures of rear facing two year olds they usually seem to have their legs smooshed against the backseat, which is why manufacturers offering seats with leg extensions - but these mean that they take up even more space.

Unlikely but depends on the car. I can tell you that In the back of a Volvo XC60 or a Lincoln nautilus (both smallish "mid-size" SUV's) there is room left for 1 adult and 1 child.

I also have a britax boulevard, and got the extend 2 fit for my travel option and second car seat based on these reviews [babygearlab.com].

While basically any car seat on the market today is going to be safe, graco extend 2 fit has the best crash rating on baby gear lab, and I respect their results and research process to be thorough and unbiased. I prefer britax and chicco products, but the graco extend 2 fit is actually a good option if you are looking for a cheap(ish) second convertible car seat.
