For those, like me, waiting for the site to open with the holiday deals, it's open. Hopefully someone can find something they want. I checked and before I posted only saw a few individual sets. This is all together for you. Hope it helps.

https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...ee-basekit Milwaukee 1 free tool with 2 4AH batteries - $199

https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...ee-basekit Dewalt 1 free tool with 2 5AH batteries - $199
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...,6203,6217 Dewalt 2 free tools with a hamer drill, driver and 1 2AH and 1 6AH battery $399 NLA
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...1vZ2fkoo9f Ryobi 1 free tool with 2 3AH batteries - $149
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...ee-basekit Ridgid 1 free tool with 2 3AH batteries - $199
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...ee-basekit Ridgid 2 free tools with a hammer drill, driver, circ saw, recip saw and a flashlight - $449
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...ee-basekit Makita 1 free tool with 2 4AH batteries - $199
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...,6203,6217 Makita 2 free tools with a hammer drill, driver and 2 5AH batteries - $399 NLA

I will say though, the deals seem underwhelming compared to last year. Last year I got the Ridgid brushless driver and hammer drill with 2 4AH batteries and a free impact wrench all for $200. This time you get 2 3AH batteries. And for those looking at the Ridgid 2 free tools, the base set is brushed tools, just like last year.

Hope the price drops on BF, but the link should remain the same.

wonder if these will work in store so you can return some stuff and get your cash back.

Edit: I bet single free tool combo will work as it adds it to cart as separate SKUs and assigning value to each item.

Last year's Ridgid Hyper 4Ah batteries uses 18650 Li-ion cells.

The newer Ridgid Octane 3Ah batteries uses 21700 Li-ion cells, and has the additional electrical contacts to improve the performance of brushless tools. And includes BlueTooth.

Concerning 21700 cells - "This cell pumps out a capacity of 3,000 mAh of energy and does so with a with a true 35 amp Continuous Discharge/Drain Rating. No other cell on the market can match the punch of current that this cell delivers."
Yes, I won't argue that the 3AH batteries have an edge on the 4AH ones. I prefer the size of the 3AH one myself.

BUT....You missed the point of my statement. Last year I got 2 4AH batteries and 3 tools along with the better charger (I think). This year you get 2 batteries and a single tool of choice. Hell, earlier this year you got a 3AH, 6AH, better charger and free tool for $179 (or $110 if you luckily got the 9AH battery when their site had the hiccup)

If they lower the price on BF, I MIGHT decide to get that kit with the circ saw. But not @$200.

Also, no love for the one handed recip saw in the sale? Shame, that one is a great design.

Looking to get my first set of Makita drills. Been eyeing this kit, what do you think is a good target price? Or would there be any reason to avoid these newer sub compacts?

My local home depot has the same deal. Couldn't decide whether to get these or just the regular compact brushless combo for the same price as they're each $99 a piece. I went with the compact instead of the sub compact due to extra power. Had a $20 off HD coupon to sweeten it a bit. I have a project today so couldn't wait until black Friday.

This is just a teaser ad to get people to purchase early ie before Black Friday. Sales are on the minds of ALL retail companies this time of the year so they run these type of ads to hopefully snag some sales and many people are too lazy to return if better prices on the same tools are offered on Black Friday.

FYI...Last Year's Ridgid Deals. And I got mine on 10/30/2018. We can all speculate on a price drop but that would be different than previous years. But for many, I'm sure that's the only way they'll buy in on the sale.

If they drop each by $100, it'll be a deal.

Last year all the good deals came after Black Friday closer to the end of the year. You see better deals towards the end of fiscal quarters typically.

Is it me or did Home Depot had a total tool stage all these tools in this photoshoped picture?

Why did the dude roll in this huge tool cabinet into the living room, brought a few toolboxes full of wrenches and sockets, two vacuum cleaners, a few of the same tools from different brands and is using all of this to hang up a shelf and a few frames?

There was a FP deal in July for those drills at the same price but with a $50 gift card included, so I'd say $150 is a good buy price even if that's another GC promo. No reason at all for your average homeowner/DIYer to avoid the Makita sub compacts they will do everything you need them to. If you were using them every day or under heavy applications then I'd opt for the full size.

For easy perusal, download the app. Its very easy navigation. And yes i agree the deals are no good. Hope they get better. I am hoping for a deal on dewalt 779 miter saw. Someone on this forum got a sweet deal with a free miter saw stand last year.

For Milwaukee m18 fuel with two free tool, what if I get two free tool and return them. If two items are 100$ each, I can get m18 fuel with two 5ah batteries with pack out for 200+tax isn't it? That's pretty good deal imo

There are still $179 Ridgid deals live on the site: https://www.homedepot.com/collect...=311019068

I'm scratching my head here about their current Ridgid "deal" for $20 more...

Weekly ads have better deals. This a promo to lure in spouses that have no clue what these cost.
