For those, like me, waiting for the site to open with the holiday deals, it's open. Hopefully someone can find something they want. I checked and before I posted only saw a few individual sets. This is all together for you. Hope it helps.

https://www.homedepot.com/c/tool_savings - Main site
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...ee-basekit Milwaukee 1 free tool with 2 4AH batteries - $199
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...,6203,6217 Milwaukee 2 free tools with a drill, driver and 2 5AH batteries - $399 NLA
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...ee-basekit Dewalt 1 free tool with 2 5AH batteries - $199
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...,6203,6217 Dewalt 2 free tools with a hamer drill, driver and 1 2AH and 1 6AH battery $399 NLA
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...1vZ2fkoo9f Ryobi 1 free tool with 2 3AH batteries - $149
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...ee-basekit Ridgid 1 free tool with 2 3AH batteries - $199
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...ee-basekit Ridgid 2 free tools with a hammer drill, driver, circ saw, recip saw and a flashlight - $449
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...ee-basekit Makita 1 free tool with 2 4AH batteries - $199
https://www.homedepot.com/b/Featu...,6203,6217 Makita 2 free tools with a hammer drill, driver and 2 5AH batteries - $399 NLA

I will say though, the deals seem underwhelming compared to last year. Last year I got the Ridgid brushless driver and hammer drill with 2 4AH batteries and a free impact wrench all for $200. This time you get 2 3AH batteries. And for those looking at the Ridgid 2 free tools, the base set is brushed tools, just like last year.

Hope the price drops on BF, but the link should remain the same.

Same with Milwaukee. Using the battery cancel method, you can get the M18 circ saw for $74, M18 recip saw for $78, or the M18 grinder for $74.

Yeah this Milwaukee deal wasn't live when I did it. With this new deal you can add the tool and battery's to cart separately. Send to different stores and cancel one.

In the old deal Milwaukee stuff was combined in to a single SKU. I think you could only do it in store.

So if you get it for $200, they will return the batteries only for $125?

At first, I thought all the Dewalt tools were brushless, but only certain ones are.

I got Milwaukee m18 fuel kit with two flood lights and returned the flood lights without any problem. Overall I got m18 fuel drill/driver with 2mah batteries and a pack out box for about 230+tax. I think this is a great drill. Isn't it?

Looking to get my first set of Makita drills. Been eyeing this kit, what do you think is a good target price? Or would there be any reason to avoid these newer sub compacts?

Do you have anything against Milwaukee? I got the M12 fuel drill and driver and they are pretty spectacular for me lol. Especially the driver

They consider they free tool part of the total $200 cost and pro-rate the return. So it works out to like 80 for the tool and 120 for the battery kit rough estimate, you can return either and keep one for its prorated price.

basically yes, you can return the battery kit for around 120-125 credit.

I like how they raised the price of the dewalt flexvolt drill driver kit 100 bucks before kicking in the 2 free tools. This sale is pretty much sauce from a quick look, I'm sure other retailers will do better than this in the autumnal non-denominational sales season to come.

can you also just return the "free" items? so if I got the $449 ridgid kit and returned the 2 free tools, would the net cost of the kit be like under $300?

I think the way you asked your question gives people here the impression that you are trying to get full store credit on an item for which you did not pay full price, hence the ethical issues for some.

If you are otherwise asking if you can get full credit for the prorated returned item, then yes, you can get credit for the prorated price you paid. So for example you are returning a $120 battery set that was prorated to $80 via the deal, you can get $80 store credit or cash when it is returned.

If conversely you are trying to beat the system, and receive $120 store credit when you only paid $80 by claiming you lost a receipt or the item was a gift, then I'm not sure. But it begs the question why screw over a company that treats you well enough that you spend $40k a year at their store for a measly $40 in store credit?
Because scummy dude.

If you bought now, could you not get a price adjustment if BF came down?

Many stores won't price match their own or other stores BF prices purchased outside of that day. Not sure about home depot's policy specifically.
