How did you crack them?
Charge 2 - I'm pretty sure I hit it on a door frame. Nothing particularly rough or dramatic.

Charge 3 - I'm pretty sure I didn't. I live in a high temp area and there's threads of people saying they crack for no reason in a high temp environment. Nothing insane but 95-100 occasionally.

I've been thinking of getting one but at Costco with the costco visa because I'm pretty sure it doubles your warranty.

If you paid by a credit card you probably got an extra year warranty. Look into it if it isn't too late. I've used my credit card warranty on at least a dozen products. Many times they just refund the entire cost since it usually costs more to repair.
Yeah already working on that but it's still not inspiring considering how many folks I know with Fitbit watches failing around the same 1 year mark. I still have a 4 year old Garmin Vivoactive that is still ticking even with all the abuse I heaped on it. Even worse I babied the Versa.

I've heard the same thing for all of their products. I bought my wife the Fitbit Flyer headphones... while they are awesome so far and better than Bose in my opinion... this coming from a Klipsch fan... there are a ton of reports of the batteries failing. I bet they have a contract with a supplier who uses substandard batteries or something. Or why would it always be batteries going bad with many of their products.
I'm hoping google does something good with this company. I'd like to get my wife one of these watches but it's yet another item to plug in each evening. I wonder when they will all have a wireless charging option. Just take the watch, phone, etc etc and place on the nightstand, in the morning they are all good to go..

Snagged one from Amazon before the deal expired. Was at Best Buy picking up another when the price changed in my cart. They did price match the Amazon order because it was same day.

I have only used the apple watch and would like to know what makes their fitness apps better. From what I am reading, they essentially do the same thing.
I also am wondering how it compares. A friend has a fitbit charge that I was considering but hate to buy it or the Versa and find out the Apple Watch offers much more. Other than the Apple watch being more expensive and maybe you not being an Apple fan why did you choose this over an Apple watch?

We are apple everything in my family and have 4 MacBooks, 3 iPads, 2 apple watches, 4 iPhones, etc. Honestly, I did not not use the Apple watch apps as much. I only used the activity's app to be honest, time, weather, getting notifications, which are all options I get with the versa 2. I was looking for a good health watch and this fits the bill just fine. The battery for me is bonus. My apple watch really only lasted 1 day vs 5 days with this versa 2
