The hd.450 is a good buy at this price. I have no idea why Sennheiser made the ear pad openings so narrow, but it is a problem for many who buy these. They are kind of cheaply built and the ANC is just average at best. I have these and would actually look to something else unless your head and ears are very small.

I have the hd4.50 and m pow h10. Knowing what I know now, if somebody let me pick the hd4.50 for $80 or the h10 for 30 (which is the sale price I paid) I would go with the h10 and keep the $50 in my pocket.

Ugh, considering biting on these. I've got a pair of Bose QC25 headphones that work great, but I'm really interested in getting a pair that have bluetooth and QC35s are out of my price range. I'm stuck between getting a bluetooth adapter for the QC25s or throwing them on eBay and buying these. Anybody know how these compare to the QC25?

How much does having something like LDAC/AptX/AAC really matter for audio(music)? Asking for an iPhone user, would that be a deal killer for this?
You are stuck with the standard Bluetooth with iPhone. If you are not an audiophile or care too much about sound quality then it doesn't matter. LDAC and Aptx HD is a step above Standard Bluetooth Connection.

For iPhone it does not matter, since iPhone supports neither LDAC nor AptX. And for Android LDAC at 660kbps and 990kbps is definitely a significant boost in audio quality. There is a website that did testing on the noise and distortion levels of the different Bluetooth standard. And LDAC 990kbps clearly won for the signal integrity.

As I said in the other thread, personally I'd avoid these. I found them to be super uncomfortable - the headband padding is near non-existent, the stock earpads have small openings, and the clamping force is high.

I tried swapping out earpads and adding more headband padding which helped slightly, but still had discomfort due to the clamping force, so I got rid of them and picked up a WH-H900N off eBay for $75 or so. Significantly more comfortable and better ANC to boot.
Did you try keeping the headband expanded overnight?

Do you or anyone know else know if the higher-end bluetooth codecs like LDAC and aptX HD are mainly useful just for lossless audio source like flac? Or would they also make a difference in better sound quality even for mp3 sources? From my Moto Z2 using VLC, I tried playing the same song from mp3 (320kbps) and flac files over LDAC to my bluetooth headphones (which support LDAC) and I could not hear a difference between them.

According to the testing here, it definitely works better with higher quality (e.g.320kbps and lossless) music. As low quality (kbps) audio formats compress the high frequency contents (that our ears are not sensitive to) significantly. But the high frequencies contain important information about imaging of the music. So if you're an audiophile, I would highly recommend LDAC 990kbps.
Please also note that according to the cited article, not all Android phones support the 990kbps LDAC. You can find whether it is supported by going into the developer options menu in settings and check the available kbps options for LDAC codec.

Are these the same ones that were posted yesterday from Best buy? Been hoping to pickup a solid pair of headphones for things like yardwork, flea market and Walmart shopping. Looking at these or some in ear wireless buds. Any advice is welcome.

Got these back on prime day for $65. Great sounds although the tend to hurt my ear if left on for over 30 min as these run smaller than the Sony or Bose comparable

What are the pros/cons of a full pair of headphones like these and earbuds or whatever they're called (in-ear headphones)? I want bluetooth and I want aptx I guess. I have a Google Pixel 3XL and plan to watch youtube videos on it with these.

Don't get these, they clamp on the ears very tightly and there's no padding on the band of the headphone. I'll sell mine to anyone on here for 60 plus shipping if they really want a pair.

Why would you wear head phones to Walmart? Is it not already bad enough we barely interact with people around us ?
