They use to make these in germany. They switched to Czech republic long ago.

I honestly hate that screwdriver. It's a cool concept, but I'll grab any other one in my tool chest over that one. Like the bits are extremely short too. It's pretty, but just sits in out tool chest.
Funny, it's one of my favorite screw drivers. Bought one for the kitchen. After finding it indespensible, bought 3 more for my cars.

I wouldn't get this to replace the standard screwdrivers in my tool chest. I have one in my glove compartment and it's perfect for that application.

Thanks for the input, I was gonna buy but didn't even need to look at reviews because of your response. Any suggestions for an alternative? I'm looking for something like this for my mom's house. Thanks
You aren't even going to check the 250+ 5 star reviews because one dude on SD doesn't like it? Seems logical...

Hard to see from the pic but this driver has a button where u can have truly one handed operation to quickly switch to the opposite end. It passes through the handle. Very unique. Much more appropriate for mom's kitchen drawer than a Wera.

Yeah, if I'm ever trying to fix my airplane (as shown in photo) I'll buy this $50+ SCREW DRIVER for $30... But until then, I'll wait.
But it is a good start for airplane repairment business, right?

Even my wife made a point to comment about how much better the Wera screwdriver was when she borrowed one for something, and she hates spending money on tools.

I've got PBSwiss, Wiha, Gedore, Felo,SnapOn, Rubber Kleins.....and I still like Wera the most. Haven't had a problem with a PH2 since I found them. Spend the money if you got it.

I use mine all the time at work, It's an easy thing to grab and do minor repairs with. Of course this won't replace a toolbox full of screwdrivers, but it's certainly easier to drag around than the 6+ screwdrivers it replaces.

For screwdrivers, you can't really go wrong with either.

It comes down to ergonomics. For my hands I prefer Wera, they fit my hands perfectly. Try one of each.

I used to work as an auto mechanic. We would only buy 6 point sockets. The 12 point sockets do tend to wear quickly and round off. Never an issue with the 6 point ones.
So what did you do about 12 point bolts?
