You aren't even going to check the 250+ 5 star reviews because one dude on SD doesn't like it? Seems logical...

Yeah the insulated screwdrivers are great. The kraftform screwdriver sets should be for life but it depends how you use your tools too. If you use them as a chisel and to pry things then they probably won't last. They've got great bite.

I have several sets. I keep the insulated interchangeable shaft set on my motorcycle, insulated standard set in the basement for electrical work. I have the allen wrenches and torx sets in my tool kit. I'm a big fan of Wera tools.

Wera tools are up at the top as far as quality goes.

Last year the prices were a bit lower than this. Use CCC to determine if you think you can get a better deal.

Wera makes some of the best screwdrivers. They're leagues better than Craftsman or any of the other big box brands.

I honestly hate that screwdriver. It's a cool concept, but I'll grab any other one in my tool chest over that one. Like the bits are extremely short too. It's pretty, but just sits in out tool chest.

Are these good screwdrivers for life? I keep buying cheap ones and having to throw them away and probably have spent more over the years on cheap ones than just having nice ones.

What about the ratchet sets? I hate paying $70 but I have a chest full of rounded sockets and stripped ratchet handles, so it's tempting to be done with that.

I used to work as an auto mechanic. We would only buy 6 point sockets. The 12 point sockets do tend to wear quickly and round off. Never an issue with the 6 point ones.

wera has been on sale for a long time at some of the online more industrial sites. I know Travers usually carries them on sale, and for anyone who doesn't know about it and like higher quality mostly German made hand tools, KCtools online also has pretty good deals but an awesome variety as well.

I thought this deal was JarJar Binks trying to tell us there was a sale at Amazon.

Just a heads up but not everything Wera makes is made in the Czech Republic anymore. COO nowadays tends to be Taiwan.

The bits are great, but aren't the handles made out of that plastic that will smell like vomit after it starts to break down?
