Found a few articles comparing specs and benchmarks, and while the RX 5700 can edge out cheaper RTX 2060 on performance, it doesn't support ray-tracing. Not to say that the ray-tracing performance of RTX 2060 is stellar either, but at least it has some.

My only purpose for the GPU is machine-learning, I'm not a gamer, and so anything AMD is a no-go for me. Not sure if helpful, but youtube reviews by BitWit, LTT and others should help you.

I already got myself an AM4 3900x, Asus TUF Gaming Plus Wifi, and 32 GB Corsair LPX Vengeance 3200, matched with an EVGA SuperNova 750w PSU. Mostly I'll be doing video editing. Machine learning is too advanced for me. I play games occasionally, but try to keep my addiction in check; it was pretty bad 20 years ago with Unreal Tournament and its variations ...
