Hi, is this powerful enough to be able to stream games from an xbox one S? My friend was informed he would need a gaming laptop or PC?

I got a similar laptop from Staples a month back. Similar specs but with 8th gen i3, quite happy with the performance and battery life. Honestly the screen resolution is not as horrible as u think

People defending the resolution need to understand that this same laptop with i3 processor is available at Costco for about $50 more. This is not a bad deal at all, but I think the screen alone is worth $50 more.

$50? It's $30 more and it actually comes with an i5 processor.

How dare they put 720p resolution on a $250 laptop!! For that price, it should have 4k resolution, 32 Gb of RAM, 1 TB SSD, and dedicated graphics. It would also be nice if could mow my lawn... but I guess for $250 I might be able to make due without the lawn mowing.
Who said anything about a 4K screen on a $250 laptop? 1080p should be the bare-minimum in 2019.

HP 14" Laptop Intel Pentium - Windows 10 in S Mode - 1080p - Microsoft Office 365 Personal (1-Year Subscription)

This one? It's only 4gb/64gb but does have the 1080p screen. Other than screen I think this amd one is def a better machine.

Absolutely. The biggest limiting factor will probably be WiFi band, signal strength, interference, etc.

They should make 1080p mandatory.
