I don't buy cards from Amazon anymore. I've gotten a fake card from them before. They mix their inventory with third parties and have no interest in keeping their stock legit. And yes I did buy it directly from Amazon. It looked exactly alike and the GB showed up correctly when plugged into the computer. The Best Buy deal is better.

If you do buy from Amazon make sure you test the card.

A2 is a marketing gimmick, no faster than A1. Benchmarks prove it. SanDisk uses equipment not found in the real world to prove otherwise, but ANY phone out there will show no difference. A=applications loaded from an SD on an android OS. Snapdragon can't even process A2 speeds, even when it does, the newer phones will all have a standard of 128GB internal, which is like 8X A2 speeds. So, just load apps off your internal and use the SD for storage.

the sandisk extreme is better. Has faster read speeds, so games will load faster.

How much speed can the switch handle though? If it can't deal with the 160mb/s of the sandisk extreme, they will probably perform virtually identical.

For advanced video and photo recording cameras, definitely the extreme will be best.

I think the Switch maxes out around 100 mb/s?

I did a speed test against the SanDisk extreme plus and the Samsung Evo select and the SanDisk performed better with reads and writes. Iirc, the SanDisk had a write speed of about 90mb/a while the Samsung only had 20-40mb/s.

Can GoPro8's handle this 128GB card? Their site recommends 32 and 64 gb cards so was wondering if anyone has tried 128GB.

I too found this to be true when I tested it about a year ago. I believe Samsung may have changed the write speed of their EVO cards though. I'm happy with the Extreme Plus for high bitrate 4k recording.

I paid $30 for these last holiday season.

What is the difference between this card and Extreme Pro one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H9DVLBB apart from one being micro sd and other full size?

The specs seem exactly same yet the price is half?
