They're moving to Verizon now

Also got 3 kit for the data. I don't use data that often because I spent most of my life in wifi environments. These data are for me when I go on a trip.

I never really got these fly by night phone plans.

I've got Consumer Cellular, which people think is for old people. It's been great if you don't need lots of data. I pay $33 with taxes for 3GB and unlimited talk and text. $5 less if I use less than 250 minutes of calling. If you're on WiFi all the time, they have cheaper plans. They just upped the data from 2GB, and it's changed for the better each year or two. Add a line and split everything for $15/mo. Change your plan at any time in seconds, and they'll send you an activated SIM card for free. Buy one and they give you $10 credit when you activate it.

One month risk free trial. If you don't like it, they don't bill you. I used to sell it like 4 jobs back, and kept it for 5 years so far.

My other plan before that was $45 for limited data and went up to $55. Straight Talk, before that, wouldn't work everywhere. So I had huge holes in service. This is cheaper, downside is no unlimited, get friend referral credit. They've been around for years. Customer service is US based.

This is just an option, because I never hear anything about it, from anyone, ever, and it's cheaper than many plans and less hoops to jump through than all this.

Not available for pickup or delivery for my address - did they pull it off sale?
Best Buy says it is sold out, but they still sell the Ting starter kit with $60 of service credit for $9.99.

Will this work with the Samsung Galaxy A50 phones that Xfinity was offering a promotion on a couple of months ago?

1.99GB (read "under 2GB") would cost you $26. That's with no minutes or texts -- data only.

Discovering that I was suddenly not disappointed that it's sold out.

I would love to say "hey everyone, I'll send you a referral," but it's not worth it. If you want to save money there are better options. If you want to use your phone without limiting yourself or monitoring your usage, there are better options. I am not a heavy user of data, but that is where they will get the majority of you. I have reached the $30 credit with 17 days left. I should end the cycle at $34 max. This is a good deal if you can get plenty of credits/referrals and rarely use your phone and even then there are probably better options.

ting is the worse nickel and dimer out of all the mnvos when it comes to data. good luck surviving with 500mb of data. go over it and it's like being with one of the main service providers $$$
Yup.
After they repeatedly let my daughters' plans go past the caps I kept having to move further and further below the thresholds to the next bucket, I had enough.
Switched all of us (wife and I were on a grandfathered Sprint plan, one of the original "wireless web" plans) to cricket and haven't looked back. ($100 for 5)
