Good deal as a budget TV.

Not good as a computer monitor (different panel than used for the 43" TCL, which is a good monitor).

I went with the 4 series. They looked the same in store to me. The built in roku was one of the deciding factors

I went with the Vizio. They did look the same but the Vizio has full array local dimming, Dolby Vision, and slightly more powerful speakers.
Since I use a firestick I didn't really consider the built in apps/roku.

Used the $20gc and $25off from the groupon membership deal to make it $195

The 43" is also on sale and I spent some time using it this weekend. I am sorely disappointed and am bringing it back. I pull up a youtube video on different devices and pause it and compare. The TCL has awful blooming on lighting. It totally washes out areas of the picture that are completely visible on ALL other compared devices. I dont know what I expected for the cheapest tv on the market but I definitely did not expect washout.

Went back and they took it back no questions. Got the Samsung 43 instead but dang $60 difference... the picture was really bothering me on the TCL. Oh well I tried.
