Very YMMV. I believe the rebate is based on what your power company is giving back based in region/energy provider.
Doubt if this has to do anything with regional power companies as its available to all Costco members in store..worth checking as they are good and bright

I have gotten light bulbs that were discounted from regional power companies at Costco. Often it's a statewide thing.
The Enhance bulbs are a FEIT brand. FEIT bulbs suck. I have many that have died within a year, and others that are flickering. I spent today pulling them all out and will be returning to Costco.
I had one FEIT bulb in the same fixture as an incandescent. The incandescent lasted longer!

You should not mix the bulb type in one fixture. The incandescent bulb may have caused the controllers in the led bulbs to go bad.

You should mention what store location this was purchased at, since usually prices like this are subsidized by the local electric utility. The amount of the subsidy is dependent on what utility company is operating in the area.

Good call.
However, I know that's not the only reason they are going out. I had 4 all start going out in a 1-2 month span. One in a lamp and another two in a dual outlet (both leds of same bulb).

Yes, it does have to do with regional power companies. My store has subsidized bulbs too and the discount price signs have tags next to it with the energy company name (and they are never as cheap as they are in other regions). These 'deals' shouldn't be posted on here without at least mentioning the region/power co. in the title.
