A subtle promotion to get $25 off your order of $100 on select Makita tools both at Home Depot and most also at Amazon.

Applied at checkout. Free shipping to store or home.

If you're not feeling batteries most of these are the highest-rated best in the market pro-level tools that rarely go on sale.

Some people prefer to own the better tool, dewalt and bosch make fine tools but they will never be Makita.

Did not check the others, but the sander has the same promotion on Amazon. However, even with the discounted price, it's hard to justify why not to buy a Dewalt or Bosch, with much lower price.

There are always others that are cheaper and in the same class as the Dewalts, Bosch, etc. Most folks after these deals are looking for these pro-level with more features and long-term medium-to-high usage reliability you wouldn't normally get at HD, Lowes, etc for your DIY models.

I've been looking for this exact model to drop and I'm sure I'm not alone with the other highly rated Makitas.

25% off of these models has only showed up this time of year and this year Amazon just matched the promo. I'm sure Acme will soon too. I'll update the post, thanks.

Isn't the same sander without the tool case $79, so you're essentially getting the tool case for free?

I've had both the Bosch and Makita sander. The bosch sucks. The disc has a bowl in the center so it only sands at the edge. The Makita is perfectly flat and has less vibration.

The orbital sander is usually around $80. It's honestly one of the most reliable sanders you can own. Even the side handle makes it better. I have one, and a Milwaukee sander, and the Makita is just hands down perfect and does everything my Milwaukee M18 can't do. If you are second guessing the sander, don't.

Is it a good deal for circular saw? Need to upgrade current one. Dewalt also has a corded 7.25 inch one.

In ALMOST all cases Makita is better than Dewalt.

Ok, this is driving me crazy. I looked through Home Depot's product page, Makita's product page, and the PDF of the product manual. What the heck is the 'AC/DC Switch' and how/why would you use it?
