I have Hue and LIFX and hands-down LIFX has better bulbs with brighter colors and the app is SO much easier to use.
Don't let the "mini" name fool you, these are bright!

I'm not saying why get a good one vs a crappy one; but what makes this great at $30?

The Kasa bulbs are good and I have great experience with their switches, plugs, cameras, etc within a single app. It sounds like it's a good sale on this bulb, but I'll wait for the ~$17 Kasa multicolor bulb again.

I used to always prefer amazon given the same price but since they started doing their own deliveries I prefer anyone else. They're often days late and the drivers struggle to complete the delivery sometimes spending 15 minutes or more fumbling around on the property. In other news I really like my lifx bulbs. Out of 7 I've had for a few years I had a single failure and it was replaced by lifx. I've tried a few other bulbs and switches and they all ended up in the trash.

Anyone know if these work with a Logitech Harmony? I don't see it listed on the store page but it does say "and more" in the compatibility list.

I sent video of their driver just dropping my package in middle of lawn when their notes said they handed it to a person.

If you're satisfied with what you currently have, then keep using them. I have a Lifx (non mini, a19) and I recently bought 2 smart life bulbs (mini equivalent/9W or something) and their app is so bad compared to Lifx

Honestly, for me I don't use the Kasa stuff because it does not integrate with SmartThings (does it now? No idea I haven't checked in a few years), and I have Z-Wave switches which when I double tap them turn on my LIFX bulbs that I have in lamps (single tap turns on the can lights the switch is hardwired to). I use those kind of integrations, I can't get that with Kasa.
