With Pre-Orders of the standard edition for both XBox One and PS4 sold out, you may have some success (as I did) with doing an online chat to get them to apply the coupon to the deluxe edition.

Me: No I added it at target.com. The "non-deluxe" edition of the game is eligible for the offer (i.e. when I add that to my cart the offer applies) but that one is "sold out" so I can't order it

Me: But it's an EA video game right? And all EA video games (with the exception of what's specifically excluded per the coupon) are eligible for the promotion aren't they?
Me: Why would the deluxe edition of the same game that's eligible for the promo not be eligible?
Me: I did add the standard edition of the game to my cart from Circle, but when I was in my cart I saw the offer applied
Me: But I couldn't order that one because the pre-orders are sold out
