This parka is a great parka for winter according to Reddit , best mid priced parka with the LL.Bean Baxter.
They usually are in sale for 30-40% but this is 50%

Many other styles are also on sale, like the Rusk parka $149.97 (little warmer, but not waterproof) https://www.landsend.com/products...4255,44967

but I'm posting this one in particular as I feel it was not highlighted enough compared to the Marmot or North Face deals, yet for the price and quality it does surpass them.

So heres the question too. The bomber jacket is made of 100 percent Nylon vs Polyester. I read that Polyester repels more water than Nylon. Nylon stays wet longer. So the bomber looks awesome but I'm hesitant for our Chicago Winters with Snow.

I put it in the original post as well, the rusk is not waterproof while the expedition is. I'm also in tristate and thought maybe too warm is not good, ( expidition works up to -29F) while the rusk I guess is 5 degrees more.
