The eneloop charger is compatible with ikea ladda and fujitsu (newegg) batteries... not sure about the energizer rechargeable ones if they are available for cheap..

I've seen these at the stores, looks like exact copy of the eneloop. I dont think they are slow self discharge though

AFAIK the Eneloop last wayyyyyy longer in the shelf. Rechargeables tent to discharge very bad.
